I vibe-coded the worm from Dune
and u can drive it
one HTML file. no Blender, no game engine, no 3D models
what's inside:
→ 25 armored rings that follow the head like train cars
→ a crown of 40 teeth and 36 blades spinning inside the mouth
→ dust that kicks up wherever the body breaks the sand
→ x-ray mode that shows the part still underground
→ arrow keys to steer: left, right, dive, breach

the trick was writing the motion as a path, not an animation. the head picks the route and every ring just follows it, so the body bends on its own
where it went wrong:
> the first build put the camera under the sand
> dust was invisible until it read the depth buffer at the right size
> it's a stylized machine worm, not the one from the movie

paste this into Claude Code ↓
"Build a [creature] in a single three.js HTML file.
1. Describe the body as segments that follow one path, before any code
2. Build each segment from chamfered boxes, no textures, no imported models
3. Add arrow-key steering where only the head turns and the body follows
4. Add particles where the body crosses the ground
Show me the segment plan first and wait for my yes."
