A small boat gliding through a lush green swamp of mossy trees and still, reflective water, all rendered live in the browser with threejs. It looks like a cinematic game scene, but it runs on a web page.

Per the creator, the swamp scene was ported from WebGL to WebGPU, with Opus 5.5 doing most of the porting work, while the original scene was made with GPT 6 Astra.

Why it matters: WebGPU brings much more of the GPU to the browser, and AI is starting to handle heavy jobs like porting a whole 3D scene to a new graphics API.
