My vibe coded webgpu game now boots 29% faster after upgrading its threejs to r187. I have not even attempted to perf protect the booting of my game so far and my philosophy so far has been “smooth gameplay over short boot time” so while the game plays fairly well the boot time was embarrassingly slow and was/is one of Claude/Astra’s main time bottlenecks in reviewing updates made to the game. With this upgrade alone, 40% more game boots could’ve been done in the same amount of time (apparently) so this is like adding NoS to my current ai coding workflow. Now to give fable 5.1 a new, meaty game update to do in r187 and we shall see how much better and FASTER it is in doing it! 🫡
