HELENA: Cloud District is a surreal adventure where you explore a giant megastructure without a jump button.

Check out this surreal first-person exploration game, where you roam a decaying megastructure and take photos of intricate plants, uncovering past memories. HELENA: Cloud District has just launched on Steam for free, already earning positive reviews.

In the game, you explore the remnants of a dormant world and investigate the pictures you've taken by bringing them back to the sleeping computer to record them and get a glimpse of what happened long ago. The colossal megastructure features winding passageways, narrow bridges, and places where you need to climb. You'll slide, hover, and glide through it in your own creative way to reach the slumbering Cloud District, and there is no single route.

The game has no jump button, which makes the movement feel more grounded. You can also stop for a moment and enjoy the ambient atmosphere. The locations look calm and abandoned, and some feel eerie, with horror elements throughout.

Catch a glimpse of what's in the adventure with these clips from the developers:

HELENA: Cloud District was created by a small indie team of the same name. It attracted attention even before the release, with over 2,300 wishlists. In reviews, players praise the overall feel, mechanics, and unsettling atmosphere, and note that movement without the jump button feels smooth and easy.
