So what’s the summit?
AI Gamechangers has been interviewing games industry leaders about the impact of generative AI for a couple of years now. Now we’ve taken that experience to the stage, live, at Pocket Gamer Connects events. The AI Gamechangers Summit is the result, and the next one is part of Finnish Game Week this month.
It’s all about the intersection of artificial intelligence and the games industry, and it covers PC, console, mobile, XR and even the occasional drop of web3. The programme is curated, giving you an insider’s view of how AI and ML are reshaping everything from narrative design to QA, monetisation and UA. The stage will be compèred and panels moderated by your humble AI Gamechangers scribes.
What’s on the agenda?
There’s a full morning of sessions, split across two content tracks. AI Advances looks at how AI technologies are transforming art creation, scriptwriting and programming techniques, and where that might unlock new levels of innovation, efficiency and expression in games. Practical AI explores AI’s role in development, focusing not on theory but on what people are really doing to enhance player experiences, optimise performance and create dynamic virtual worlds.
Expert speakers include Dr Luke Dicken, the former head of AI at Zynga and Take-Two Interactive, who now advises on the best-practice use of AI tech in the games space. There’s also Jari Pauna of Brimstone AI and SuperDrama, Markus Hjort of Bitmagic, Ted Verani of modl.ai and loads more. Full details on the summit are here.
