Unity 与 PvX 合作,为移动工作室提供 UA 融资
Unity partners with PvX to offer UA financing to mobile studios
Unity is teaming up with PvX to help mobile studios pay for user acquisition without giving up equity.
Announced by the two companies on October 27, the deal sees PvX vet and fund qualifying games and apps.
This means that instead of issuing equity or taking on a traditional loan, studios get money tied to how each cohort of players performs, and can scale up marketing as it pays off rather than raising investment in advance.
PvX says it has committed more than $1.3bn in UA financing across 17 markets to date, and claims to be one of the biggest UA financing outfits in mobile.
Studios that qualify will also receive Unity Ads credit, extra customer support and possibly better invoicing terms from Unity, and will need to sign up to Unity’s Developer Data Framework.
“The recent success of Unity Vector has helped drive meaningful ROAS improvements for customers, paving the way for a mutually beneficial partnership designed to expand access to financing and accelerate growth within the increasingly competitive mobile apps industry,” said Joe Wadakethalakal, CEO and co-founder of PvX.
Earlier this month, we reported that AppLovin had filed for a temporary restraining order against Unity in the Superior Court of California in San Francisco, accusing its rival of harvesting data through Unity’s Ad Quality SDK without permission.
